Collectors are used as collectors and reservoirs in water utilities. These collectors are commonly made of copper and zinc alloys, including brass. This alloys not only have high price but also have high weight too. Thanks to it, the parts made of these alloys have major problems. Polymer installations also have major weaknesses due to low wear resistance and low strength to low weight. By selecting the proper aluminum alloys and making oxide nanostructured coatings on the surface of it, all of the weaknesses listed above are omitted. Aluminum collectors have high abrasion resistance and also high corrosion resistance.

Collectors are used for the cooling and heating water of the closed circuit or water, and also used for high-pressure gas flow.

Anodized aluminum collectors contain aluminum oxide nanostructured coating.

The "corrosion resistance" of the product was evaluated according to the polarization test, the results are as follow:

The results show that the corrosion resistance of a sample with a coating (nano sample) is increased compared to the non-coated sample (control sample).
